What do you know about eczema

Eczema is a type of skin inflammation (dermatitis) that causes various forms of skin rashes, including blisters, redness, cracking, bleeding, itching, dryness, oozing and to name but a few. The term dermatitis means inflammation of the skin. Eczema can occur almost anywhere on the body, but to define the causes of this problem can be difficult. It was attributed to heredity, food allergies, immunizations, or non-food allergens that can rub with the skin as viscose. It can also occur with the introduction of a new type of drug, or in people with asthma. Perhaps all these possibilities can bring eczema on the skin, but you can treat it with oilatum.
What begins as a redness of the skin can develop into itching and become very difficult to prevent scratching, which exacerbates the problem by spreading the irritation. The hydration of the area of inflammation is very important to people with eczema because of the dryness of the skin that can be potentially serious. The use of soap on affected areas can actually dry the skin further, so that if the soap is oil based, it is recommended soap or detergent to be applied sparingly. Antihistamines in the form of two topical and oral medications are usually recommended to relieve itching.
The most serious problems of eczema are treated with oral corticosteroids. Like many pharmaceutical drugs, side effects are a possibility, so moderation is advised. One of the best ways to treat the rash is to keep skin hydrated with emollient agents. The most common drugs are calamine ointment, Betnovate RD, oilatum or cortisone injections, bath oils and aqueous cream.
It is known that eczema can not be cured directly, and can be alleviated with medication. Because some forms of eczema may recur with more stress or contact allergens, the “cure” for this type of dermatitis is to avoid environments (or food) that would bring about adverse reactions. But this is beginning to provide clues about what could be a major cause of eczema: the reaction of the body against an alien invasion of allergens.
